# isave.video Review Browser-based TikTok video downloader that saves public videos as watermark-free MP4 or MP3 files, free with no account required. ## Editor's Score: 64/100 Ease of use earns 20 out of 25 because the workflow is genuinely as simple as it gets: paste, click, save, no account. Value earns 20 out of 25 because the tool is free with no download caps and no paid tiers, which is hard to argue with for what it does. Capability scores only 10 out of 25 because the tool is TikTok-only with no batch processing, no API, no editing, and no AI component despite its category placement; every named directory competitor does more. Delivery scores 14 out of 25 because the site's own submitted description misrepresents the tool as multi-platform when the live site is TikTok-only, and the 'AI Video Tools' category claim has no basis in the product's actual functionality, both of which are trust signals that a careful buyer would notice. ## Pros - Genuinely free with no download limits, no paid tiers, and no account required, as confirmed by the site's own FAQ stating 'no hidden fees, subscriptions, or premium upgrades' - Works in any modern browser across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS without installing an app or extension - Delivers watermark-free MP4 output and MP3 audio extraction from the same paste-and-click workflow ## Cons - Strictly TikTok-only: the tool cannot download from Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, or any other platform, which is a hard limit not shared by multi-platform competitors - No batch or bulk download support; every video requires a separate paste-and-click action, making it impractical for anyone saving more than a handful of clips - No AI component despite being submitted under AI Video Tools; the site is a straightforward URL parser and file fetcher with no generation, editing, transcription, or analysis features ## Pricing Free. - Free: $0 Pricing reflects what we saw at the time of review (2026-09). It does one thing and does it without friction, but it is strictly TikTok-only, which puts it behind multi-platform competitors the moment you need to pull from Instagram or YouTube. Anyone who needs bulk downloads, API access, or AI-assisted video creation should look elsewhere entirely. Best for: Casual users saving individual public TikTok videos offline Not for: Bulk downloaders, multi-platform users, or anyone needing AI video creation ## Overview isave.video is a single-purpose, browser-based tool for downloading public TikTok videos. Paste a TikTok URL, hit download, and you get an MP4 or MP3 file saved directly to your device. No account, no app, no subscription. That is the entire product. What separates it from the crowded field of TikTok downloaders is its stated commitment to being permanently free with no download caps. The site explicitly says there are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or premium upgrades, and users can download as many videos as they want. The watermark-free output is available when TikTok's public API makes that version accessible, which is the standard caveat across every tool in this category. The scope is deliberately narrow. isave.video handles only TikTok links and only publicly accessible ones. It does not support Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, or any other platform. There is no batch processing, no browser extension, no API, and no editing layer. Compared to directory competitors like Runway or Descript, which offer genuine AI-powered video creation and editing workflows, isave.video is not in the same product category in any meaningful sense. It was submitted under AI Video Tools, but there is no AI component visible on the site. ## Who should use it isave.video fits someone who needs to grab a TikTok video once in a while and does not want to install an app or create an account to do it. A student saving a cooking tutorial for offline reference, a creator archiving their own public posts, or a social media manager pulling a single clip for a presentation will find the workflow fast and genuinely frictionless. Anyone who needs to download from platforms beyond TikTok, process videos in bulk, or do anything with the footage after saving it should look elsewhere. Descript, which is already in this directory, lets you edit video by editing a transcript and handles multi-format workflows far beyond what isave.video offers. For AI-generated or AI-edited video output, Runway is the appropriate choice from this directory. ## FAQ Q: Is isave.video actually free, or is there a catch? The submitted description mentions other platforms, but the live site is TikTok-only. Q: Will the downloaded video have the TikTok watermark?
