Hotel Lobby AI verdict
Hotel Lobby AI suits someone who wants a single novelty video of two people in a viral orange-booth scene and does not want a subscription. The template lock-in is real: every output is one of four preset scenes, and you cannot bring your own footage, style, or prompt the way Runway or HeyGen allow. If you need anything beyond these four templates, or plan to make more than a handful of videos, the per-video pricing adds up fast with no volume discount.
Strengths
No subscription required: passes are one-time purchases that never expire, and a confirmed generation failure returns the same-quality pass.
Four distinct template products (Duet, Zombie Couple, Crazy Frog, Holy Trinity) give the site more variety than a single-trick novelty tool, even if each is still a fixed scene.
Weaknesses
Template passes are not interchangeable: a $6.90 duet pass cannot be applied to a Crazy Frog or Holy Trinity video, so buying the wrong pass wastes money with no recourse beyond the refund policy.
No free tier and no preview generation: you must pay before seeing any output, which is a meaningful risk given that the site itself warns exact likeness is not guaranteed.
