Terms of Service
Listing is free and every submission is reviewed by a real person. The only thing you can buy is Fast Track ($19 one-time), which buys speed, never a score or a ranking. We decide what gets listed and how it scores, our reviews are our honest opinions, and you are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. Questions: support@aitoolseekers.com.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing aitoolseekers.com or submitting a tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and AI Tool Seekers ("we," "us," or "our"). If you are submitting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and "you" refers to both you and that company. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
AI Tool Seekers is a directory of AI tools in which every published listing has been reviewed by a person. Our services include free tool listings, editorial reviews with an Editor's Score, category and comparison pages, a glossary, and an optional paid Fast Track add-on described in Section 6. Specific features may change as the directory evolves.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to submit a tool or purchase Fast Track. The directory itself may be browsed by anyone.
4. Submissions and Accuracy
To review a tool we need accurate information: the tool's name, website, description, category, pricing model, and any other details requested on the submission form. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping it current, including through the free claim process (Section 8). You must have the right to submit the tool and its materials. We may edit submitted text for clarity, length, and house style without changing its substance.
5. Editorial Independence
We decide, at our sole discretion, whether a tool is listed, how it is described, which categories it appears in, and what Editor's Score it receives. Payment never influences any of these decisions. There are no sponsored rankings, no purchasable score points, and no private exceptions. We may decline any submission, and we may update or remove a listing if the tool changes, shuts down, or no longer meets our standards.
6. Fast Track
Fast Track is an optional one-time $19 add-on purchased at submission. It buys: a review within 24 hours instead of up to 7 days, a clearly labeled "Featured" tag on browse pages for 7 days, listing in up to 3 categories, and priority email support. It does not buy, and cannot buy, any change to your Editor's Score or ranking.
Refunds: if we decline to list your tool, or we fail to complete your review within 24 hours, we refund the Fast Track fee in full. Otherwise, once the expedited review has been delivered, the fee has been earned and is not refundable. To request a refund, email support@aitoolseekers.com. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
7. Listing Content License
You retain ownership of the materials you submit (names, descriptions, logos, screenshots). By submitting them you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and adapt them for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory, including in listing pages, category pages, comparisons, and search or AI-engine results that index our public pages. This license ends for a given listing when the listing is removed, except for cached or archived copies we do not control.
8. Claiming a Listing
Claiming a listing is free. To claim, you verify ownership with an email address on the tool's own domain. Once claimed, you can update your tool's information, pricing, screenshots, and links. We may revoke a claim obtained through misrepresentation and may re-verify ownership if a dispute arises. Edits made through a claim remain subject to our editorial review under Section 5.
9. Reviews and Scores Are Opinions
Editor's Scores, verdicts, pros and cons, comparisons, and "best of" rankings are our honest editorial opinions, based on the information available to us at the time of review. They are not statements of objective fact, endorsements, or guarantees about any tool. Pricing and features shown reflect what we saw at the time of review and may have changed; always confirm current details on the tool's own site. If you believe a factual detail in a listing is wrong, tell us at support@aitoolseekers.com and we will check and correct it.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: submit false, misleading, or unlawful information; submit tools you have no right to submit; attempt to manipulate scores, rankings, or the claim process; scrape, bulk-download, or republish substantial portions of the directory; interfere with the operation of the site; or use the site for any unlawful purpose. We may decline or remove submissions and restrict access for violations of these Terms.
11. Third-Party Tools and Links
The directory lists and links to third-party tools and websites we do not control. A listing or score is not a guarantee of a tool's quality, safety, security, or business practices. Your use of any listed tool is between you and that tool's provider, under their terms and privacy policy. Do your own diligence before purchasing or sharing data with any third-party tool.
12. Results Disclaimer
Important: being listed on AI Tool Seekers does not guarantee traffic, rankings, citations by AI systems, sales, or any other outcome. Search engines and AI platforms control their own algorithms, which change frequently. We provide honest listings and dofollow links; we cannot promise what third-party systems do with them.
13. Intellectual Property and Takedowns
The aitoolseekers.com website, its editorial content, design, and branding are our property or licensed to us. You may share links to our pages and quote brief excerpts with attribution; you may not republish substantial portions without permission. If you believe content on the directory infringes your intellectual property rights, email support@aitoolseekers.com with the details and we will review and, where appropriate, remove or correct the material promptly.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Tool Seekers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the directory or any listed tool. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, for free listings, is zero). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Tool Seekers from claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your submission of materials you did not have the right to provide, or your misuse of the directory.
16. Removal and Termination
You may request removal of a listing you own at any time by emailing support@aitoolseekers.com from your verified domain email. We may remove listings or restrict access as described in Sections 5 and 10. Sections that by their nature should survive (including licenses for the period content was live, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) continue to apply after removal or termination.
17. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
We aim to resolve any issue directly and fairly, so please contact us first at support@aitoolseekers.com. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AI Tool Seekers operates, and any disputes not resolved directly will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
18. General Provisions
These Terms, with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the directory. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a revised date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
