Does ChatGPT recommend your tool?
We ask ChatGPT and Perplexity for the best tools in your category and show you whether you are named, where, and who is named instead. Three free checks a day. Every result is a snapshot.
Common questions
What does the AI visibility checker do?
It asks ChatGPT and Perplexity the question a buyer would ask, "What are the best [your category] tools right now?", and reads the answers: is your tool named, at which position, and which other tools are named. Competitors we have reviewed link to their reviews.
Why is the result called a snapshot?
AI answers vary between runs and between the API and the apps. The same question asked twice can list different tools in a different order, and the ChatGPT app with your history can answer differently from the API we use. Treat the result as one reading, not a ranking.
Why only three checks a day?
Each check is a real ChatGPT and Perplexity query that we pay for. Three a day per visitor, and a monthly budget for the whole site, keep it free for everyone. When the monthly budget is used up the page says so and can email you the result once it resets.
How do I get my tool named by AI engines?
Be present where they read: an llms.txt file, a clear pricing page, schema on your homepage, and listings on directories and review sites they cite. Our AI readiness checker covers the first three; a hand-reviewed listing here and the FreeAIDirectories submission cover the rest.
What happens with my email?
Only if you ask for the report by email: we send that one email. The marketing opt-in is separate and unticked by default.
Make your site readable first.
AI engines recommend what they can read and what they see cited elsewhere. Check your llms.txt, crawler rules, schema and pricing page in one go.
