Is your AI tool ready for ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity?

Answer engines only recommend what they can read. This checks the five things they look for on your site and tells you exactly what to fix. No signup, no AI cost, results in seconds.

What we check

llms.txt

The file AI systems read first: what your product is and where the key pages are.

AI crawlers

robots.txt rules for GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and the training crawlers.

Schema

JSON-LD on the homepage: Organization, SoftwareApplication, FAQPage.

Pricing page

A reachable pricing page with the amounts in the HTML, not only in a widget.

Crawl basics

Title, meta description, canonical link, sitemap.xml and HTTPS.

Score

Out of 100, weighted toward llms.txt and crawler access because those decide whether you are cited at all.

Common questions

What does the AI readiness checker test?

Five things an answer engine needs: an llms.txt file, robots.txt rules that allow GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, JSON-LD schema on the homepage, a pricing page with prices in the HTML, and crawl basics (title, description, canonical, sitemap, HTTPS).

What is llms.txt?

A plain text file at yoursite.com/llms.txt, in markdown, that tells AI systems what your product is and where the key pages are. It starts with an H1, a one-line summary in a blockquote, then links to pricing, docs and other important pages. The generator on this page writes one for you.

Should I block AI crawlers?

Blocking GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot means those engines cannot read your site, so they will not cite it when someone asks for tools like yours. Blocking training-only crawlers such as CCBot or Bytespider is a separate policy choice and does not affect being cited.

Does the check use AI or store my data?

No. It fetches a few public pages from your site with ordinary HTTP requests and reads the HTML. Nothing is stored beyond a ten-minute cache of the result, and no AI model is involved.

Why does the schema check say missing when I have schema?

The check reads the HTML your server sends. Schema added later by client-side JavaScript is not in that HTML, and most crawlers do not see it either. Render JSON-LD on the server.
