Podium verdict

Podium is the right pick for developers who already juggle Claude Code, Codex, Grok, or similar CLI agents and want a single place to plan work, delegate tasks, and watch costs accumulate in real time. Its orchestration model is genuinely novel: you describe a project in chat, an agent becomes the coordinator, and Podium wires up the dependency graph automatically. The catch is that it is early-stage software with no hosted option, meaning you supply your own API keys, your own machine or VPS, and your own tolerance for rough edges.

Strengths
Genuinely novel orchestration model: one conversation creates a full dependency graph across multiple named agents, with blocked/running/review states tracked automatically.
Per-task cost visibility with model attribution and subtask rollup gives developers real spend data, not just a monthly API bill with no breakdown.
Weaknesses
Windows and Linux builds are explicitly marked experimental, and the iPhone app is in private beta, so the only fully supported platform right now is Mac.
No hosted option: every user must supply their own API keys for every model and manage their own runtime environment, which is a real setup burden for anyone not already comfortable with VPS administration.
