RefineCV verdict

RefineCV is the clearest choice for small and mid-size recruitment agencies that format CVs at volume and want the lowest published per-CV cost without a per-seat bill. Its self-service template builder and per-CV pricing model beat most rivals on cost, but agencies that need verified ATS integrations or ISO 27001 compliance will find it thin on enterprise credentials. Large staffing firms with complex compliance requirements should look at Allsorter instead.

Strengths
Lowest published per-CV cost in the category at $0.25 on Pro, with no per-seat fees on any plan, making it genuinely cheaper than CVFormatter ($0.60 to $0.79/CV) and Allsorter (~$5.95/CV) at comparable volumes.
Self-service template builder is included on every plan including the free tier, with no per-template charge; competitors like CVFormatter charge $49 per additional template and $24.99 per update.
Weaknesses
ATS integrations are not fully documented publicly; a third-party roundup flags them as 'limited' and 'none published,' which is a real gap for agencies whose workflow depends on Bullhorn or SAP SuccessFactors push-to-ATS functionality.
No enterprise or custom-quote tier means agencies needing negotiated SLAs, dedicated account management, or compliance certifications like ISO 27001 have no upgrade path within RefineCV.

Talynce verdict

Talynce is the clearest fit for solo recruiters and small Indian staffing agencies who want a combined ATS, CRM, and AI screening tool without paying anything to start. The free tier is genuinely functional, but the platform is priced in INR, built around Indian GST billing, and has almost no public track record outside directory listings, which makes it a harder sell for teams outside India or buyers who need proven enterprise reliability. If you need a workflow automation tool with auditability, governance controls, or integration into a broader enterprise stack, look at TRam Studio instead.

Strengths
Genuinely free solo plan: 1 user gets 2,000 candidate adds per month, unlimited AI match searches, and 10 AI video interviews with no credit card required.
All-in-one agency workflow: ATS, CRM, talent pool search, submission tracking, and client management are included on every plan, free and paid, without requiring separate subscriptions.
Weaknesses
INR-only billing with 18% GST makes Talynce structurally awkward for teams outside India; there is no USD, EUR, or multi-currency option documented anywhere on the pricing page.
REST API access is completely absent on the free plan and requires upgrading to a paid team plan of at least 2 users, blocking any HRIS or ATS integration for solo users who want to automate data flows.
